Penguin Parade
These bespoke fairy outfits were made for the Little Penguins of Roydon Island, a small uninhabited island in Bass Strait, just off Flinders Island. Seaweeds gathered from the shores of Roydon Island have been processed into these delightful paper artworks.

Tasmanian artist Catherine Stringer talks about the inspiration and processes behind the handmade paper artworks in her exhibition 'Penguin Parade'. in which she used seaweed gathered from a Bass Strait island to created a series of fairy costumes for the Little Penguins who live there.

and framed in natural timber Tasmanian Oak frames
